Meetings are held on the third Tuesday in the Morgan Barn (on the Fairgrounds)
Association Meetings start at       7:00 p.m.
Board Meetings start at 8:00 p.m.

*RULES*

Cattle must be pre-entered with entries received by July 18.  Passes will be mailed before the Fair.  There will be a limited number of passes handed out per farm, club or family.

Cattle must be on fair grounds by 10:00 p.m., Friday, unless pre-approved by the superintendent.

Animals must remain on fairgrounds until 5:30 p.m., Sunday, unless pre-approved by the superintendent.   ***No vehicles on grounds until 6:00 p.m.

All State and Inter-State health regulations will be strictly enforced. Rabies shots must have been received at least 30 days prior to show.

Certificates of registered animals must be available upon request.

You must pre-register. Slots will be pre-assigned on a first-come basis.

Cattle must enter by the back gate (#4) entrance.  Cattle trailers must be moved away from the barn within ½ hour after unloading animals.  No trailers or vehicles are allowed to remain near the barn!

Only those people directly involved with the ownership and exhibition of cattle on the grounds will be allowed to remain overnight

Bedding is not provided.

Ledyard Fair is an alcohol-free fair. Violators will be asked to leave the fairgrounds for the duration of the fair.

The superintendent reserves the right to change show set-up as deemed necessary.

Novice: First year or under 8 years old
Junior: 8-11 years old
Intermediate: 12-15 years old
Senior: 16-18 years old
Open: 19 and over. This class is showmanship only.

Livestock Showmanship Rules

Sunday, 12:30 p.m.

Classes will be divided into two age groups - 10-14 as of July 1st and 15-18 as of July 1st.

Beef, dairy and sheep will be shown with accumulated points between the classes. All livestock, halters, and beef sticks will be provided.

Proper attire is required and will constitute towards the scoring.  Showmanship attire will be either snow whites or dark pants and a white shirt or an appropriate 4-H Club, VoAg/FFA Club or breed association farm shirt.

     Pre-registration with superintendent is highly recommended as these classes are on a first-come basis!
