I document the Fair Association’s heritage using a repeatable editorial method: source review, stakeholder interviews, date verification, and audience-use mapping. I separate nostalgia from operational evidence so articles can support archives, sponsor conversations, seasonal events, and public trust. My process keeps Ledyard’s agricultural history accurate while helping current residents understand how to participate.
